Protectapeel: 785-1
This waterproof coating is the ideal product for the marine industry. Unlike most strippable coatings, it won’t disintegrate with moisture or bake on with extreme heat.
Protectapeel: 785-1 forms an amazingly tough, skintight seal that prevents dirt and moisture from reaching the protected surface. In addition, because this product is waterproof, it will last up to twelve months outdoors when applied according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Protectapeel: 785-1 is widely used to protect boat molds, gel coats, decks and fiberglass. It’s especially important for those vessels that remain outdoors for the duration of the job or transportation process. Just peel away when the job is complete and the surface will be unharmed.
The color of this coating is blue, however other colors may be available upon request. It is non-toxic and non-flammable in the wet state and one gallon will cover up to 100 sq. ft. A dry film thickness of 4-6mm is recommended for all applications and will dry in approximately
2 hours.
